I am a Filipino-American engineer-turned-psychotherapist and my holistic approach honors the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. I combine trauma-informed practices, somatic interventions, and narrative therapy. I am also trained in EMDR and certified as a 500-hour Clinical Yoga Practitioner. I have extensive experience working with BIPOC, AAPI, Filipinx, LGBTQIA+, couples, and adolescents.

I specialize in supporting individuals and couples who feel stuck with trauma, depression, anxiety, or a sense of overwhelm as they navigate life's complexities. With experience in complex trauma and PTSD, I offer a safe and compassionate space for healing and growth.

I support clients in reclaiming their inner strength, cultivating resilience, and embarking on a journey of self-discovery.

I am experienced in working with people of diverse backgrounds in various environments. Treatment Approach

I work collaboratively with clients to examine and rewrite the stories they tell themselves about their lives. I bring a structured and systematic mindset to therapy and utilize trauma-informed somatic interventions. By guiding clients to tune into their bodily sensations, I facilitate the processing of emotions at a profound level.

I teach practices that support your nervous system to move toward regulation, or homeostatic balance. These practices teach you how to be with challenging sensations without bracing to allow energy to shift and release, rather than accumulating in your body. Over time, your window of tolerance expands so that your nervous system naturally spends more time in parasympathetic, or “rest and digest,” even as you move through the world .

In the process, I help you to unburden the original traumas that live on as hypersensitivity to threat. To do this, we need to meet and befriend the protective parts that over or under react to present situations. With more understanding and acceptance, these parts calm down and start to work together as a team, helping you to become more responsive and vital.

I help you build a personalized tool-kit to manage your symptoms going forward. When you stop fearing your symptoms they lose power over you and they begin to fade. Clients often report forgetting about symptoms as their life comes back into the foreground.
